Cromars Classic Fish and Chips is dog-friendly

Hello and welcome to Cromars Classic Fish and Chips. We are a completely dog-friendly fish and chip shop in St Andrews. We offer a takeaway service, and we have both indoor and outdoor seating. When you visit Cromars, you are very welcome to bring your dog along. We have water bowls to keep them hydrated, and we’ll even treat them with some doggy biscuits. We love to see happy dogs and owners here at Cromars!

Our fish and chip shop provides the perfect pit stop when you’re out walking with your dog. We are just a 10-minute stroll from East Sands Beach in St Andrews, a popular spot for dog walkers. The beautiful sandy beach has an inland footpath, good facilities and a nearby car park. Dogs are most welcome on East Sands Beach and many outdoor spaces in St Andrews. Owners are just asked follow the dog walking guidelines of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code.

So call in and see us on your next dog walk in St Andrews and enjoy a famous Cromars fish supper! Our eatery has been named the “best fish and chip shop in Scotland” at the National Fish & Chip Awards on two occasions so far.

Our fish is caught from the sea right on our doorstep and our chips are delivered from just down the road. We prep our homemade tartar sauce and mushy peas each morning in the shop. So everything is freshly made and super tasty. We also offer a wide range of other chippy classics, such as battered scampi, calamari and fish cakes, plus veggie options. For the kids, we offer a “fun box” which includes a main meal with chips, a drink and a lolly.
